Professional Biography
I was born and raised in Kansas City and have deep roots in this community—both personally and professionally. After graduating from Barstow, I moved to Omaha to attend Creighton University, where I completed both my undergraduate and medical degrees. My medical school journey took me from Omaha to Phoenix for clinical rotations, and in 2022, I returned home to begin residency at KU, which I completed in June 2025. Becoming a physician has been both a personal calling and a family tradition—I’m proud to be the fifth generation in the Devins family to practice medicine in Kansas City.
I’m passionate about family medicine because it allows me to build lasting relationships with patients and support their health across every stage of life. I have a special interest in obesity medicine, women’s health, and preventative care—areas where I believe thoughtful, personalized guidance can make a meaningful difference. Outside of work, I find joy in the outdoors and creative expression. I’ve been skiing since I was four, and I especially loved hiking with our dog, Nosh, during our time in Arizona. I also enjoy drawing, playing guitar, and most of all, spending time with my husband, Deko, and our daughter, Ruah. Whether it’s exploring nature or relaxing at home, family is at the heart of everything I do. Continuing the Devins legacy in a city I love is an honor I carry with gratitude and pride.
