Professional Biography
Rodney McCalla, MD, a graduate of The University of Kansas School of Medicine, has practiced General Surgery for over 18 years following the completion of his Surgery Residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Peoria.
“I grew up in a small town in South Central Kansas. My best friend’s father was the town surgeon, and he modeled for me the “treat every patient like family” philosophy that I continue to practice today.My wife and I have been blessed with 4 amazing children who happily occupy the majority of my time outside of medicine. I also play acoustic guitar and piano and lead the Worship service at our Church.”
