Professional Biography
Dr. Raymond Rizzi is an Ankle and Foot Surgeon. He specializes in lower extremity injuries ranging from lower extremity deformities to ankle replacement to ankle fracture to foot fractures to ingrown toenails. A list of problems and injuries he treats will be listed below. He has a special interest in traumatic injuries and reconstruction. His undergrad major is Exercise Science (sports medicine) from Purdue and Creighton University. He covers High School Teams and enjoys the time he can spend helping athletes reach their potential as they work through injuries.
He is an expert in Wound Care and sees patients at Centerpoint Advanced Wound Care. He has been intimately involved in wound care for 30 years now often giving lectures and teaching.
Dr Rizzi has additional training after residency doing fellowships and visiting scholar programs for 3 more years. He continued his training by going to courses in Italy, Russia and the US for advanced training in Total Ankle Replacements and Multiplanar External Fixation for lower extremity deformity correction.
