Marie de Hoop, AGACNP-BC, MSN, CCRN, is an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience, including extensive time in the Intensive Care Unit. Her background in critical care, pulmonology, cardiothoracic surgery, oncology, and palliative care has shaped a well-rounded and thoughtful approach to patient care. Her career also includes international nursing experience in Europe, Australia, and Africa, which has contributed to a culturally sensitive and adaptable approach to care. She is committed to building meaningful connections with patients and families and strives to provide care with clarity and empathy.
Outside the hospital, Marie prioritizes time with her husband, three children, and two dogs, often traveling and exploring nature together. She stays active through triathlon training and tennis and enjoys music, having studied vocal performance earlier in her life. She also has a love for reading and writing and is the author of a published book on faith and trust.
