Jay A. Dunfield, MD

Professional Biography

Outside of the office, Dr. Dunfield loves to spend time outdoors (name about any outdoor activity and he’s game) doing something productive with his hands (working in the garden, a yard project, or playing the piano), or enjoying the arts (music theatre, live music, or seeing something new at one of the new art galleries). He’s an avid history buff, and finds reading a historical biography a good way to relax.

Going the Extra Mile…

Helping people enjoy life again is why I decided to become a doctor. With today’s technologies and medications, allergies and sinus problems no longer have to interrupt a person’s life. I will always stay up-to-date on the latest advancements for the benefit of my patients.”

“There’s no question that a strong education makes a difference in the quality of care you receive. I continue to learn every day, with every new patient I meet. And a good doctor continues to learn throughout his or her career.”

“Patients deserve the latest advancements as they become available. My membership in professional associations allows a valuable exchange of information among some of the finest ENT physicians in the country. It also allows me to provide better ear, nose and throat care to my patients.”

“Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and professional. I was extremely early to my appointment, and they were able to get me in sooner, which was unexpected and lovely. The building itself was very swanky.”

"People with allergies and or anything that deals with your sniffer, should come to this place. Our daughter had surgery here but its relatively quick and not too painful. Staff was very nice. If it helps your loved ones, check into it."

"The care, compassion, professionalism, and friendliness from the doctors and staff are hard to beat. I enjoy each visit and a piece of me will be saddened that I will no longer need to go into the office much longer (because he listens and is great at his job), Dr. Foster listens, cares, and is ready to tackle my concerns. I am grateful to be referred to Dr. Foster and hope others are receiving the same experience!"
