Professional Biography
Dr. Danny Neuman was born in Overland Park, KS, and graduated from The University of Arizona with degrees in Chemistry and Physiology. He obtained his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCU). Concurrent with medical school, he obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Helzberg School of Management at Rockhurst University. He subsequently completed an Anesthesiology residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine with additional sub-specialty fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Neuman has a breadth of experience within the field of Pain Medicine with special interest in neuromodulation, precision pain therapeutics, and transformative medical technology. He is an active member of the Kansas Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (KSIPP), American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA), and the American Society of Pain & Neuroscience (ASPN), and was a founding member of the Fellows’ Committee within the latter organization. He has authored or co-authored chapters on topics ranging from peripheral nerve stimulation to sensitization states.
Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Neuman enjoys travel, music, learning new cultures through food and architecture, and fitness. He resides in Prairie Village, KS, with his wife, a PM&R physician, and their 80-lb goldendoodle, Nelson, who runs the show.
