Professional Biography

I have been a nurse for almost 17 years. As a registered nurse I worked in the Transplant ICU and Cardiothoracic Progressive Care Unit. After graduating from KU as a Family Nurse Practitioner I worked in Urgent Care for about a year. I then transitioned to working in the ENT department at Children’s Mercy and worked there for 10 years. I am nationally board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my son play baseball, soccer, basketball, and run cross-country. I also enjoy traveling and outdoor activities such as running, hiking, and skiing.
